Global Professional

Over the course of my career I’ve had the opportunity to live in the US, Japan and Europe as well as work with teams from around the world.  I’ve started my own company and worked at globally established Fortune 100 corporations.  I’ve held a variety of different roles from leading an individual business to marketing consumer products and even starting his own adventure travel company.

This variety of experiences has given me a global perspective and taught me how to lead and communicate with diverse teams; whether they’re from across the globe or a different part of the organization right down the hall.

A few leadership highlights include:

PowerSchool, Senior Director of Solution Marketing – I Successfully built and scaled solution marketing for fast growth HR and ERP SaaS business. After one year was promoted to take over second line of business focused on HR and talent development.

Vail Resorts, Sr. Director of Marketing for the Tahoe Region – I Led marketing team for 3 resorts and team of 25 to effectively grow visitation and revenue in the Tahoe region. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team also defined long term cross-functional strategy and created new best practices for the fast-growing enterprise..

Hewlett Packard, Director of Marketing – Recruited back to HP to build and lead sales and marketing for fast growth security software business. Helped grow the business 10x over 2 years, while growing my campaign team from two to seven. 

Kilimanjaro Adventures, Owner and Founder – I founded an online adventure travel company while working full-time. I defined and executed the entire marketing strategy that resulted in profitability within 6 months of start-up.

Procter & Gamble, Brand Management – I was recruited as an Experienced Hire to help turn around struggling facial tissue business. I chose to take a more junior role for the opportunity to learn from one of the best marketing companies in the world.

Hewlett Packard, Regional Marketing Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa – I relocated to Germany for 3 years to launch new HP Software products. I was later promoted to lead entire HP Software brand re-launch across 120 countries.

Intrusion Detection, Sales and Marketing Director – I led all sales and marketing for security software start-up, launching new product and helping to grow the company 10x in only two years resulting in a successful acquisition by an industry leader.
